Job summary

Space Dynamics Laboratory in Huntsville is seeking a Printed Circuit Board Designer to join a team delivering space-grade PCB designs. You will work with electrical and mechanical engineers across design, fabrication, and assembly to ensure high-performance boards. Qualifications

• Associates degree, certificate, or applicable electronics experience required.
• Must have a strong working knowledge of electronic components and their basic functions.
• Must work well independently with minimal supervision and in a team.
• Must have strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Must be a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident of the U.S., or other U.S. person.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with electrical engineers on design of space-grade PCB designs (class 3).
• Design rigid, rigid-flex, and flex boards from high-speed digital to RF.
• Coordinate with mechanical engineers for board size, keep outs, and fit.
• Involve in all hardware development phases including PCB design, fabrication, and assembly.
• Review footprints and 3D models with librarian for correct fitment.
