Blue Origin is seeking an Embedded Controller Test Engineer within the Lunar Core Components team to define test strategies, develop test plans, and execute development, risk reduction, qualification, and acceptance campaigns for MK1 Lunar Lander Vehicle variants.

You will collaborate with Responsible Engineers, interface with NASA, and support multidisciplinary teams to ensure avionics performance, fault tolerance, and safety objectives.

Qualifications

• B.S. or B.A. in Electrical/Computer Engineering or related field.
• 1–2+ years testing or integration of electronic systems.
• Strong electronics fundamentals.
• Experience writing and executing test plans in engineering environments.
• Familiarity with avionics such as embedded controllers and motor controllers.
• Experience with environmental acceptance tests (thermal, vibration, EMI/EMC).
• Ability to read schematics, ICDs, and requirements.

Responsabilités

• Own the test scope for one or more Avionics products with RE collaboration.
• Plan, write, and execute test plans for development through acceptance testing.
• Support bench bring-up and hardware characterization with design team.
• Support environmental test campaigns and anomaly resolution.
• Drive verification closure by mapping evidence to requirements.
• Identify and track test anomalies to resolution.
• Contribute to test infrastructure development and GSE needs.
• Communicate test status and lead technical reviews.
• Apply lessons learned to improve test efficiency.
