in electrical engineering with 5+ years experience; master’s or space electronics experience may substitute. Proficiency in Altium, LTspice, Embedded C/C++, Python, and Linux is expected, with strong communication and PM

Qualifications

B.S. in electrical engineering or related field with 5 years of experience; master’s or space electronics experience may substitute for 2 years.
Familiar with space-industry standards for electronics, design factors of safety, and product verification is desired.
Proficient with schematic capture and PCB layout; capable of embedded software development in C.

Responsibilities

Lead the design and development of high-reliability space electronics from requirements through testing.
Design, analyze and develop component- and system-level space electronics.
Create prototypes for R&D projects and future products.
Develop embedded software interfaces using SPI, RS422, CCSDS, I2C.
Develop Python test scripts to automate hardware testing throughout build process.
Collaborate with suppliers to ensure hardware is built and sourced to schedule.
