Job summary

AnySignal in Los Angeles is seeking a Digital Electrical Engineer to own the design, manufacture, test, and deployment of highly integrated PCBs used by space customers. You will work with a small team of engineers to shepherd the product from initial design to vehicle integration, taking a full-stack approach to robust space communication systems.

The role requires designing and testing high-speed digital hardware and collaborating across RF, software, and mechanical teams to ensure performance

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in EE/related STEM and 3+ years in high-speed digital PCB design.
• Experience with Altium Designer and RFSoC/MPSoC platforms.
• Experience debugging SoCs across bootup stack and with FMEA basics.

Responsibilities

• Design high-speed digital hardware including processors, FPGAs, memory, interfaces.
• Perform trades and analyses of board architecture and components.
• Schematic capture and layout of space-grade PCBs.
• Bring-up and testing of new designs.
• Collaborate with RF, software, mechanical, thermal, and manufacturing teams.
• Ensure thermal dissipation considerations with mechanical team.
• Coordinate with supply chain for rapid manufacture.
• Design for space-grade acceptance, qualification, and compliance.
