Job summary

AnySignal in Los Angeles, CA is seeking a Digital Electrical Engineer on the hardware team to own the design, manufacture, test and deployment of highly integrated PCBAs used by space customers. You will collaborate with software, RF hardware and FPGA engineers to shepherd the product from design to vehicle integration, taking a full-stack approach to robust space communications systems.

The role requires a BS in EE/CS/Physics, 3+ years in high-speed digital circuitry, experience with Altium

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, physics or related STEM field.
3+ years designing high-speed digital circuitry.
Experience with Altium Designer and Xilinx RFSoC/MPSoC platforms.
Experience debugging SoCs across boot/OS stacks.
Knowledge of FMEA and space-grade requirements.

Responsibilities

Design high-speed digital hardware including processors, FPGAs and memory.
Trade board architecture and component selection decisions.
Schematic capture and PCB layout for space-grade PCBs.
Bring-up and test of new designs.
Collaborate with RF, software, mechanical and manufacturing teams to drive end-to-end designs.
Coordinate thermal management with mechanical engineering.
Interface with supply chain to enable rapid production iterations.
Ensure performance under space-grade acceptance and compliance.
