Rocket Lab is seeking an Additive Manufacturing Technician II to support printing, calibration, and inspection of metal 3D prints at the Engine Development Center in Long Beach, California. The role requires hands-on tooling, setup accuracy, and collaboration with Engineering on new hardware.

This 4-10 shift role involves operating multiple metal 3D printers, process improvements, and adherence to safety standards to deliver high-quality parts for Rutherford & Archimedes engines.

Qualifikationen

• 2+ years in manufacturing, fabrication, assembly or testing
• Proficient with hand, power and pneumatic tools
• Experience with inspection methods and machine tools

Aufgaben

• Uphold and follow additive safety measures and be an advocate for safe operations
• Prepare additive print jobs with attention to detail on setups
• Operate metal 3D printers (EOS, SLM, DMG preferred) and troubleshoot issues
• Calibrate 3D printers and interpret findings with Engineering
• Perform maintenance and ensure quality through inspections
