Job summary

Tundra Technical Solutions is seeking a Guidance Navigation & Control Engineer 5 (Contract) in Seal Beach, CA, on-site for a 1-year project. The role focuses on designing GN&C algorithms, building high-fidelity simulations, and testing flight software in atmospheric and space environments.

The engineer will develop 6 DOF dynamics tools, validate GN&C software, and apply astrodynamics to mission design. A bachelor’s degree and 5+ years in related work are required, with active clearance preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in engineering, engineering technology, computer science, math, physics or related field.
• 5+ years of related experience in GN&C or aerospace systems.
• Proficiency with MATLAB and Simulink and C/C++ development.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and verify guidance, navigation, and control algorithms for spacecraft and hypersonic platforms.
• Develop 6 DOF dynamics simulations and analysis tools for mission performance.
• Implement GN&C flight software using MATLAB/Simulink models and C/C++ prototypes.
