Job summary

Northrop Grumman Space Systems in Linthicum, MD seeks a Space Flight Operations Engineer to monitor, trend, and analyze satellite telemetry during on-call shifts and to support on-orbit operations for a constellation of Space RADAR satellites.

Qualifications

• BS in STEM with 2–5 years in aerospace/defense or MS with relevant experience.
• Strong coding in MATLAB and/or Python for data analysis.
• Active Top Secret clearance with SCI access or ability to obtain.
• Willingness to work shifts, nights, and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Monitor, trend, and analyze satellite and payload telemetry during ops shifts.
• Perform system tests with on-orbit payloads and simulators.
• Develop and operate custom software tools for data analysis and troubleshooting.
• Assist in discrepancy adjudication and anomaly resolution.
