Amazon.com Services LLC seeks an Equipment Engineer for its Satellite Hardware Manufacturing Team in Redmond, WA. The role focuses on developing system requirements, driving detailed designs, and leading equipment integration and testing for high‑volume, complex hardware.

Formación

BS in electrical engineering or equivalent required.
Experience prototyping and implementing equipment.
Ability to read and develop rack elevation diagrams, wiring diagrams, GD&T.
Experience with PLC and DAQ systems.
Experience designing complex mechanical products at volume.
Experience maintaining material handling equipment and automated systems.
Familiarity with fiber optic and copper cabling standards.

Responsabilidades

Develop system requirements and drive detailed design of new equipment.
Contribute to sourcing plans for complex equipment (COTS & custom).
Lead equipment integration and site acceptance testing.
Develop maintenance, spares, and troubleshooting plans.
Support 2nd line escalation of downtime.
Specify facilities interface requirements (power, network, space, LN2/GN2, PCW).
Train technicians on routine maintenance and troubleshooting.
