Job summary

Anduril Industries seeks a Firmware Engineer on Space to build and deploy firmware for on-orbit spacecraft operations and mission management. You will contribute low-level firmware for modular capabilities supporting DoD and IC customers across space.

You will work with partners to deploy reliable capabilities on tight timelines, debugging across electrical, firmware, and software boundaries while collaborating with multiple teams.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of firmware/embedded software experience with embedded systems.
• Strong C coding ability for embedded systems and drivers.
• Experience with bare-metal or RTOS firmware development.
• Ability to navigate complex systems and document work clearly.

Responsibilities

• Develop low-level firmware/software for microcontrollers and create reusable drivers.
• Own complex firmware features of an embedded system.
• Debug across electrical, firmware, and software boundaries.
• Select microcontrollers and review schematics with EE team.
• Collaborate across teams to plan, build, and test functionality.
• Manage involvement in multiple projects at various stages.
