Job summary

Trident Systems is looking for an Electrical Engineer in Fairfax, VA, to join their Space Electronic Systems division. The role involves designing, developing, integrating, and testing advanced mixed-signal embedded hardware for space and defense applications.

The ideal candidate will have a relevant Bachelor’s degree and several years of experience in hardware development. Benefits include health coverage, 401(k), and paid time off.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or related technical degree.
• 4+ years of related experience with a Bachelor's degree OR 2+ years with a Master's degree.
• Experience in aspects of the hardware development process.
• Demonstrated mixed-signal circuit card assembly development experience.
• Experience with FPGA and microprocessor development.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement and test mixed-signal Printed Circuit Board (PCB) and Printed Circuit Assembly (PCA).
• Support and enhance existing embedded hardware primarily at the PCB/PCA level.
• Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams to solve complex technical challenges.
