Job summary

Trident Systems is seeking an Electrical Engineer to design, develop, integrate, and test advanced mixed-signal embedded hardware for space and defense applications. You will lead full life-cycle PCB/PCA development, applying stringent engineering principles to deliver high‑performance, radiation-mitigated electronics that meet demanding mission requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering.
• 4+ years experience with Bachelor's degree or 2+ with a Master's.
• Experience in hardware development: requirements, characterization, simulation, high-speed digital design, signal processing, schematic capture, layout, testing, and integration.
• Demonstrated mixed-signal circuit card assembly development on HDI PCBs with >1 GHz components.
• Experience with circuit simulation, signal integrity tools, FPGA and microprocessor development, and hardware debug tools.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and test mixed-signal PCB/ PCA using HDI and high-speed components.
• Schematic capture, PCB layout, and routing.
• PCA integration, test, and debug across life-cycle projects.
• Work with cross-disciplinary teams (mechanical, RF, software, firmware, PM) to deliver space-grade electronics.
• Support interfacing disciplines and perform additional duties as assigned.
