Job summary

CesiumAstro, Inc. is seeking a Test Engineer II in Austin to design and execute test plans and fixtures for spac e and aerospace electronics. You will work with design engineers and technicians in a lab setting, assembling multi-board assemblies and testing complex phased array systems.

The ideal candidate has strong electronics knowledge, hands-on lab skills, and experience with Python, LabVIEW, SQL, MATLAB, or Embedded C. Bachelor’s in EE and 2+ years of related experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• BS or higher in Electrical Engineering or similar from an accredited university.
• 2+ years of relevant industry or research experience.
• Strong electronics and test theory foundation.
• Hands-on lab experience with electronics measurement equipment.
• Experience designing and executing test plans for board-level electronics.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Design and execute test plans and test equipment for space/airborne electronics.
• Author test plans and procedures; design test fixtures or PCBs as needed.
• Assemble and test complex phased array system components in the lab.
• Troubleshoot and debug hardware issues; document results for stakeholders.
• Plan integration of multiple prototype modules and evaluate test results.
