Job summary

SEAKR Engineering, Inc. seeks an experienced Senior Space Electronics Systems Engineer to lead design, development, testing, and qualification of mission‑critical electronic subsystems for next‑gen space products.

You will collaborate with hardware, firmware, mechanical, power, and software teams to deliver reliable, radiation‑tolerant electronics that meet stringent requirements. Responsibilities include architecture definition, component selection, hardware development, test planning, systems

Qualifications

• 10+ years of systems engineering experience in space, or 4+ years in a senior/lead role.
• Strong knowledge of digital and analog mixed‑signal electronics design.

Responsibilities

• Define and validate avionics and electronics architectures including power and environmental control.
• Select and qualify components (COTS/rad‑hard) for mission requirements.
• Oversee prototype build, production, and testing of hardware.
• Design and execute system‑level test plans (electrical, EMI/EMC, vibration, thermal).
• Coordinate ICDs/EIDs and interfaces across hardware, power, software, and mechanical teams.
• Produce design specs, test procedures, and manuals; maintain knowledge base.
