Jet Propulsion Laboratory in Pasadena, California seeks an Electronics Engineer II to join the Advanced Electronics Systems and Technologies group. You will design analog, digital, and power electronics for space and terrestrial robotics, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to bring concepts to flight-ready hardware.

The role requires a BS in electrical/robotics engineering with 3+ years (or higher), strong background in power electronics and radiation effects, hands-on prototyping,

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, robotics engineering, or similar technical discipline with a minimum of 3 years of related work experience in electronics development; Master’s with 1 year; Ph.D. with 0 years.
• Deep expertise in power electronics including topology selection, component selection, magnetics design, and controller implementation.
• Hands-on experience in hardware prototyping of power electronics, including co-design with thermal, structural, and embedded control systems.
• Proficiency in electronics lab environment, including specification, modelling, simulation, and testing of electronic systems.
• Strong communication of technical ideas to non-experts.

• Own technical development of electronics from specification to mission infusion.

• Identify candidate technologies, design test fixtures, and support radiation testing.
