Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 2 years machine shop experience or an Associate with 4 years.
• Minimum 5 years direct management experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong leadership and people-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and manage a team of 15-20 employees in a machine shop setting.
• Work with the Manufacturing Manager to develop and implement improvement plans to achieve high-impact results.
• Define, track, and measure short- and long-term team goals aligned with organizational strategy.
• Use standard work and production documentation to optimize personnel and equipment utilization, workflow, and cost efficiency.
• Hire, train, evaluate, and develop team members; manage performance and succession.
• Address employee relations issues; administer counseling, discipline and feedback.
• Ensure accurate employee time reporting and policy adherence.
• Support safety, quality, and continuous improvement initiatives.
