Muon Space, Inc. is seeking summer interns for hands-on research with the Mission Innovation team in Northern Virginia/DC. This full-time, on-site internship offers mentorship and real impact on ongoing programs.

You'll conduct first-principles analyses, work with remote sensing data, and develop models and simulations. Ideal candidates are pursuing a Master’s or PhD in a technical field and can communicate complex concepts clearly.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a master's or PhD in a related field.
• Strong fundamentals in first principles and problem solving.
• Proficiency in Python, MATLAB, or Julia for data analysis and modeling.

Responsibilities

• Conduct first-principles analysis for remote sensing applications.
• Analyze geospatial datasets to identify applications and validate concepts.
• Prepare technical materials for stakeholder discussions.
• Develop models, simulations, and trade studies for feasibility.
• Collaborate with a small agile team to explore new uses of Muon Space systems.
