Job summary

Space Dynamics Laboratory invites motivated undergraduates and graduates to join its Strategic Military Space Division for a summer internship. You will work on spacecraft pose estimation and related computer vision algorithms, porting existing code and testing new approaches.

Onsite support in North Logan, Utah, with up to 12 weeks, is expected, starting mid-2027. Requires US citizenship and clearance eligibility.

Qualifications

• Must be pursuing a degree in aerospace, mechanical, electrical engineering, or a related field.
• Senior or graduate student.
• GPA of 3.0 or higher is required.

Responsibilities

• Assist design, port, build, and test small satellite computer vision pose estimation algorithms.
• Analyze algorithm performance.
• Document analysis results.
• Present results to the team.
