Job summary

Galapagos Federal Systems, LLC seeks a Senior Training Specialist for Space Control Systems Operator duties supporting US Army Space and Missile Defense Command. You will educate leaders in space operations, develop doctrine, and create training tasks across the Army, including the Space Operations Training Division.

You will implement ADDIE-based instruction, design evaluations, and coordinate with SMDS divisions to ensure alignment with standards, while traveling as needed to support missions.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI clearance required.
• 10+ years of space-related military experience.
• Experience with Space Control operations and Counter-SATCOM systems.
• Proficiency in space control system operations and interference analysis.
• Knowledge of MDMP and space fundamentals.
• Experience delivering instruction to senior leadership.

Responsibilities

• Provide SME on space capabilities for Army operations.
• Deliver instruction for SMDS courses including Space Control Systems Operator Qualification Course.
• Train personnel on space control systems and satellite communications interference analysis.
• Develop and maintain lesson plans and training materials per TR 350-70 and accreditation standards.
• Design and implement training evaluations and conduct demonstrations.
