Job summary

KBR in Greenbelt, MD is seeking a Contamination and Control Engineer to implement contamination controls for spacecraft hardware during Integration and Test operations. You will guide technicians and ensure proper cleaning, inspection, bagging, and transport, addressing risks during environmental tests and internal transfers.

Requires strong aerospace clean room experience and a BS in Engineering, Chemistry, Physics or Math, plus excellent cross-disciplinary communication.

Qualifications

• Experience in aerospace clean rooms, preferably with space flight hardware.
• B.S. in Engineering, Chemistry, Physics or Math or equivalent experience.
• Good communication across disciplines and teams.

Responsibilities

• Implement contamination controls and oversee I&T operations.
• Guide technicians and troubleshoot contamination issues in project work.
