Job summary

CACI International Inc is seeking an experienced Avionics and Flight Software Test Facility Integration Engineer to support the build-out, integration, and certification of NASA’s SR-1 SSAL at Johnson Space Center.

The role requires strong communication, multi-project coordination, and readiness to travel up to 10% across the Continental US. A BS in engineering and 3+ years in software/hardware integration for safety-critical systems are required.

Qualifications

• U.S. citizen or permanent resident required.
• BS in Aerospace, Electrical, Software, Computer or Systems Engineering, Computer Science, or related disciplines.
• At least three years in software and hardware integration for safety-critical software.
• Flexible, able to manage multiple priorities with minimal supervision.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills; team-oriented and responsible.

Responsibilities

• Perform software integration, test, and verification.
• Integrate and test software/hardware in avionics test bed and flight certification environments.
• Collaborate with engineering teams and contractors across multiple NASA programs.
• Ensure adherence to JSC standard software process practices.
