Northrop Grumman Space Systems seeks a seasoned Assembly, Integration, and Test IPT Lead - Staff Engineer to oversee the I&T of space-based radar payloads in Linthicum, MD. The role requires a BS in STEM with extensive RF/I&T experience, strong leadership, and the ability to obtain a Top Secret clearance; space-related I&T expertise is preferred.

Qualifications

  • BS degree in STEM with 12+ years of experience, MS with 10+, or PhD with 7+ years treated as a baseline.
  • Active U.S. Government Top Secret security clearance eligibility (SCI access possible) required.
  • RF sensor system integration and test experience, e.g., RADAR, SIGINT, or COMM systems.
  • Strong technical leadership and people-management skills, with ability to plan, schedule, staff, and report progress.

Responsibilities

  • Lead multi-discipline assembly, integration and test efforts toward rapid system development and integration.
  • Develop System I&T documentation and test plans.
  • Coordinate with engineering and production teams to implement effective I&T processes and procedures.
  • Monitor issues, provide timely resolutions, and keep management updated on risks and milestones.

We seek a motivated and skilled leader to oversee the assembly, integration, and testing phases of our RADAR payload production program.The Assembly, Integration, and Test IPT (Integrated Product Team) Lead - Staff Engineer will oversee the AI&T process of space-based RADAR payloads which are comprised of an Electronically Scanned Array (ESA) and Processing Subsystem. This role involves managing the assembly, integration, and testing phases to ensure that the payloads meet performance and quality standards on cost and schedule. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results.
