Job summary

The Aerospace Corporation seeks a Space Architecture Performance Specialist to drive modeling and simulation for space-based sensing architectures. You will lead multidisciplinary teams, translate customer needs into objectives, and deliver technical analyses for government stakeholders. Requires a B.S.

in a related field, 8+ years in modeling/simulation, and proficiency in Python/C++/Fortran/MATLAB. TS/SCI clearance and US citizenship are required.

Qualifications

• B.S. degree in aerospace engineering, electrical engineering, systems engineering, mathematics, or related discipline from an accredited school.
• 8 years of progressively technical modeling and simulation experience.
• Proficiency with Python, C++, Fortran, or MATLAB.
• U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain TS/SCI clearance.

Responsibilities

• Lead teams to perform assessments using in-house or internally developed analysis tools to drive recommendations for research, development, and acquisition decisions.
• Coordinate across ETG to maintain M&S standards and software requirements.
• Mentor junior staff and translate customer needs into project objectives and instructions for analysts and developers.
• Develop and present timely, technically accurate presentations and reports communicating analysis results.
