Space Systems Integration (SSI) is seeking an experienced Space Attitude Control System (ACS) / Guidance, Navigation & Control (GNC) Engineer in Chantilly, VA. This role provides technical advisory support and requires a strong background in spacecraft systems throughout the mission lifecycle.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in engineering, an active Top Secret/SCI clearance, and over 12 years of experience. Duties include assessing designs, evaluating contractor compliance, and ensuring effective communication with decision-makers.

Qualifications

• Active Top Secret/SCI clearance required.
• 12+ years of experience in engineering; 10+ years with a Master's degree.
• Experience with satellite mission lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Perform technical assessments of spacecraft ACS and GNC.
• Evaluate contractor designs for compliance.
• Assess spacecraft attitude determination and control designs.
• Review guidance, navigation, and control algorithms.
• Work with operators and engineers to resolve operational issues.
• Develop technical assessments and briefings for leadership.
