The Spa Treatment Provider delivers high-quality massage therapy and/or esthetic services to WPR members and guests on an on-call basis. This position focuses on providing treatments within the scope of the employee’s applicable professional license while maintaining WPR service, cleanliness, sanitation, and member experience standards.


QualificationsJob Duties:


  • Performs massage therapy and/or esthetic treatments based on applicable Utah licensure, scheduled bookings, and spa needs.

  • Provides professional, attentive, and personalized service to members and guests while following established WPR treatment protocols and service standards.

  • Reviews required intake information and communicates with members and guests regarding treatment preferences, needs, and appropriate service modifications.

  • Prepares treatment rooms prior to services and cleans, sanitizes, resets, and restocks rooms following each treatment.

  • Maintains cleanliness and organization of treatment areas and assists with basic spa readiness while working.

  • Completes required intake forms, waivers, treatment documentation, and other spa records accurately and in a timely manner.

  • Maintains confidentiality of member and guest information and treatment records.

  • Follows all applicable sanitation standards, treatment safety protocols, professional licensing requirements, and WPR policies and procedures.

  • Communicates treatment or member concerns to the Spa Supervisor as appropriate.

  • Supports a positive, professional, collaborative, and service-oriented spa environment.

  • Performs other duties as assigned.


Licenses and Special Requirements:


  • Current applicable Utah professional license required for all services performed.

  • Current CPR/AED certification required; certification may be provided by WPR if needed.

  • Pass an annual comprehensive background check.


Physical Demands and Work Environment:


  • Ability to perform licensed spa treatments for extended periods of time.

  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and move throughout the workday.

  • Ability to lift and carry linens, supplies, and equipment weighing up to 25 pounds.

  • Ability to perform repetitive hand, arm, and upper-body movements associated with assigned treatments.

  • Ability to perform the job safely and effectively in a treatment and spa environment.

Classification: on-call, seasonal, part-time, hourly, non-exempt


Education/Experience:


  • High school diploma, GED equivalent or higher required.

  • Current applicable Utah professional license required.

  • Minimum of three years of professional experience in the employee’s licensed treatment discipline preferred.

  • Previous luxury spa, resort, private club, or high-end hospitality experience preferred.
