Four Seasons Hotel New Orleans is looking for an on‑call massage therapist. As an integral member of the Spa, the Massage Therapist position performs body treatments according to established Four Seasons protocols. The Massage Therapist also complies with Four Seasons core and culture standards.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years' experience in a luxury spa environment or equivalent.
• Massage license current as per state law.
• CPR and First Aid certification preferred.
• Fluency in reading, writing and spoken English is required.

Responsibilities

• Set up and maintain Spa including refreshments in pre-treatment and treatment areas.
• Handle guest interactions with hospitality and professionalism; accommodate requests; resolve complaints; assist in inquiries related to Spa services.
• Assist guests to their appointments as they relate to Spa services.
• Ensure adequate supply of guest amenities in treatment rooms and lounges; maintain presentation.
• Maintain stocked treatment rooms with linen and supplies; clean and organized work areas.
• Utilize reservation systems, maintenance records, and Guest Experience database to ensure satisfaction.

About The Role

We are looking for individuals who have a solid knowledge of various treatment protocols and all candidates must have a current qualification and massage license, where applicable. This position is physical by nature and requires candidates to meet all of the essential functions of this position. Fluency in reading, writing and spoken English is required. All candidates will have a warm and welcome smile and a positive attitude.

What You Will Do

• Set-up and maintain Spa including refreshments inpre-treatment and treatment areas.
• Handle all guest interactions with the highest level of hospitality and professionalism;accommodatespecial requests whenever possible; resolve customer complaints; assist customers in all inquiries in connection withSpa services.
• Assist gueststo their appointments as they relate to Spa services.
• Ensure an adequate supply of all guest supplies and amenitieswithin thetreatmentroomand loungesand ensure immaculate presentation of these items.
• Ensure treatment roomsarefully stocked with linen and supplies at all times.
• Maintain clean work areas in Spa Dispensary and Staff Room.
• Appropriately utilizereservation systems, maintenancerecords, and Guest Experience databaseas vehicles of communication to ensure guestsatisfaction with all services provided.
• Adhere to Four Seasons standards and massage andbody treatment sequencesof service.
• Properlyprepare, operate, and clean/sanitize all equipment in thetreatmentrooms andSpa areas.
• Ensure compliance of daily and opening/closing checklists by walking and ensuring all areas of treatment rooms are well maintained, stocked, and cleaned to ensure high quality presentation and repair of all equipment.
• Work harmoniously and professionally with co-workers and supervisors.

What You Bring

• 1-2 years' experience in a luxury spa environment or equivalent is preferred
• Massage license is current as per state law
• CPR, First Aid Certified preferred
• This position is physical by nature and requires candidates to meet all of the essential functions of this position
• Fluency in reading, writing and spoken English is required

Schedule & Hours

• We are seeking candidates who are able to work part-time or on-call. Candidates must be able to work mornings, nights, weekends, and holidays.
