Job Description
The Nail Technician performs professional nail, hand, and foot treatments and maintains a thorough knowledge of nails, including basic hand and foot massage techniques. The Technician must possess excellent cleanliness and sanitation skills, be willing to train in the spa’s specific nail service offerings, communicate effectively with guests, and hold a current Florida state license.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Conduct services in accordance with all Gaming Commission Regulations and Seminole Tribe of Florida departmental policies and procedures.
- Arrive on time for shifts, be prompt for appointments, and perform services within the allotted time.
- Provide consistent professional nail, hand, and foot treatments in line with spa protocols and industry best practices.
- Remain flexible with scheduling to support spa needs.
- Maintain equipment properly and manage product usage for cost control.
- Educate and train guests on services and products.
- Promote home‑care programs and meet minimum retail sales goals.
- Upkeep sanitation and sterilization standards as directed by law and spa policies.
- Prepare the work area, clean, and restock as required.
- Report any occurrences involving staff or guests that require management attention.
- Promote spa services, treatments, and retail programs, including discounts and promotions.
- Handle guests’ questions and concerns professionally.
- Respond accurately and promptly to guest requests to achieve satisfaction.
- Work independently without direct supervision.
- Maintain a positive attitude and contribute to a quality work environment.
- Attend, participate in, and support training and staff meetings.
- Assist in all aspects of spa operation as requested by management.
- Perform all duties as assigned.

Education and Experience Requirements
- Current Florida state nail technician license.
- Minimum of one year practical experience in all aspects of nail care.
Work Environment
- Frequent standing, walking, hand use, reaching, talking, listening, tasting, and smelling; occasional lifting up to 50 lbs; requires good vision including close, distance, color, peripheral, depth perception, and focus adjustment.
- Fast‑paced, crowded, and noisy casino environment with exposure to second‑hand smoke, excessive noise, and general public.
- Effective communication with guests in English required.
Closing
The Tribal Council gives preference to Native Americans: first preference to Seminole Tribe members, second to other federally recognized tribes, if they meet the job requirements. Candidates must obtain Gaming licensure through a background check with Seminole Gaming Compliance and Regulations before an offer is extended.
