Job summary

Omni Hotels & Resorts in Orlando invites a professional Massage Therapist to join our spa team. The role focuses on guest satisfaction by delivering services to Omni standards and creating a calming, sensory journey for our guests.

You will set up rooms, maintain sanitation, and encourage retail upgrades while ensuring timely treatments and accurate prescription forms for each guest. This is a full-time, on-site position in a luxury hotel spa.

Qualifications

• Current State Massage License.
• 1 year of minimum experience in massage therapy.
• Maintain sanitation per state board guidelines.
• Effective communicator.
• Excellent guest care, guest service and attention to detail.
• Flexible and cooperative.
• Able to sit, stand and walk up to 8 hours.
• Able to lift and carry up to 20 pounds.
• Dual license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Work as part of the spa therapy team to provide the highest standard of treatment.
• Set up treatment rooms according to procedures and dispose of laundry timely.
• Maintain sanitation of work area and equipment as required by state guidelines.
• Ensure professional stock is used in PAR levels to reduce waste.
• Begin and end treatments at the published time and follow correct procedures.
• Ensure all guests depart with a completed prescription form after each service.
• Encourage upgrades and achieve a minimum of 10% retail sales per period.

The Massage Therapist is responsible for guest satisfaction in the spa by performing services to the best of their ability and maintaining Omni standards throughout all procedures.

• Work as part of the spa therapy team to consistently provide the highest possible standard of treatment, creating a sensory journey for guests helping them to rest, relax and regain a sense of balance and harmony in their lives.
• Set up treatment rooms according to procedures and dispose of laundry in a timely manner.
• Maintain sanitation of work area and equipment as required by state board guidelines.
• Ensure all professional stock is used in compliance with the PAR levels to assist with reduction in product waste.
• Begin and end treatments at the published time and ensure correct procedures of all treatments are followed at all times.
• Ensure all guests depart with a completed prescription form after each service.
• Strive to consistently encourage upgrades and produce a minimum of 10% in retail sales per day / week / month.
