Pay Rate and Schedule

Pay Rate: 25% Commission on services & 20% Service Charge

Schedule: On Call

Shifts: As Needed

Job Overview

The massage therapist administers professional massage and body treatments to our guests. They should have knowledge of various massage modalities, understand body treatments, and be willing to train in our spa's specific offerings. Excellent communication skills and product knowledge are essential, including retail sales.

Essential Job Functions
  1. Provide consistent, professional massage and body treatments according to spa protocols and certifications.
  2. Inform and educate guests about wellness concerns.
  3. Support the spa's scheduling needs and perform services within allotted times.
  4. Care for equipment and use products appropriately to control costs.
  5. Maintain sanitation and sterilization standards as per law and spa policies.
  6. Perform prep work, clean, and restock rooms as needed.
  7. Report any incidents involving staff or guests to management.
  8. Handle guest questions and concerns professionally.
  9. Participate in training and staff meetings.
  10. Assist in all spa operations as requested.
Minimum Qualifications
  • At least 2 years' experience in a similar role.
  • Knowledge of multiple massage modalities and body treatments, willingness to train in specific treatments.
  • Current state license.
Additional Qualifications
  • Positive, professional demeanor.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently without supervision.
