Job summary

Solitude Mountain Resort seeks a confident spa Esthetician to join the Spa team. You will deliver facial treatments, body therapies, and waxing in a serene mountain setting with expansive Wasatch views. Must provide exceptional service to high-expectation guests and build a loyal clientele.

Licensed in Utah, with strong communication and a professional, empathetic demeanor. This seasonal/full-time position offers perks including an employee season pass and discounts, with commission plus tips.

Qualifications

• Licensed esthetician and qualified to work in Utah.

Responsibilities

• Arrive 20 minutes before first service, on-site and ready.
• Build clientele for the spa and receive clients.
• Maintain clean, stocked treatment rooms per protocol.
• Know products and upsell related spa treatments.
• Sell retail products and assist with restocking.
• Adhere to scheduling policies and attend trainings.

JOB TITLE: Esthetician

DIVISION: Spa

REPORTS TO: Spa Supervisor

LOCATION: Solitude Mountain Spa / The Inn

CLASSIFICATION: Full-Time/ Seasonal/ Commission plus Tips

Position

Solitude is looking for a confident and passionate spa Esthetician to become a valued team member in our spa department. You will have access to the wonderful views of the Wasatch Mountains and a serene, relaxing environment. The spa Esthetician should possess strong communication skills and a willingness to work with high-expectation clientele to create an experience that addresses their concerns and fits their needs. The ideal candidate will be empathetic, caring, professional, and have the ability to make others feel good about themselves. Specific Job Requirements

• Licensed Esthetician, qualified to work in Utah
• Experience in providing facial treatments and waxing
• Experience in providing a variety of body treatments, including wraps, scrubs, etc.
• Professional attitude and positive demeanor
• Dependable, self-motivated, and punctual
• Strong communication skills
• Knowledge of aesthetic technique, regional skin conditions (dry climate, high altitude)
• Perform multiple high-quality, consistent, facials and body treatments each day
• Ability to stand for up to 8 hours each day
• Reliable transportation to commute through Big Cottonwood Canyon in winter seasonal road conditions via UTA bus, employee carpool, vehicle with approved snow tires and/or chains when required

Job Duties And Responsibilities

• Responsible for arriving 20 minutes prior to your first service, being on- site and ready to receive clients
• Build clientele for themselves and the spa
• Ensure treatment rooms have been cleaned according to protocol, in working order, and stocked properly for the next session
• Have product knowledge and recommend other spa treatments that would be paired well together
• Recommend and sell retail products
• Assist with restocking of treatment reagents and laundering linens
• Responsible for reading and adhering to scheduling policies and procedures
• Attend all spa trainings and meetings
