Job summary

Pinehurst LLC is seeking a Guest Services Associate to welcome guests and ensure a premium experience at our luxury property in Pinehurst. You will handle check-ins/outs, reservations, and guest requests with professionalism and a warm demeanor.

Applicants should have a high school diploma or GED, 2+ years in hospitality, and basic computer skills. Excellent communication and the ability to work in a high-volume environment are essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED plus 2+ years related hospitality experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience in hospitality or luxury property is preferred.
• Computer software skills required.

Responsibilities

• Welcoming and greeting guests with a warm welcome to our Pinehurst Home.
• Process transactions for guests, including check-in, check-out, reservations, and cancellations.
• Attend monthly meetings with Supervisor and/or Department Manager.
• Promote and sell retail products.
• Deliver daily documents to appropriate departments in a timely manner.

SUMMARY:

Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards; anticipate and address guest’s needs. Speak with others using professional language; accurately prepare and review written documents. Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others. Ensure adherence to quality expectations.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

High School Diploma or General Education (GED) and a minimum of 2 years related experience desired; or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience working in Hospitality or luxury property preferred. Computer software skills required.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Welcoming and greeting guests with a warm welcome to our Pinehurst Home.
• Stay up to date accordingly in the latest developments to the department and overall Spa.
• Attend monthly meetings conducted by Supervisor and/or Department Manager.
• Must be able to accurately process transactions for guests. This includes, but is not limited to; checking in, checking out, book, move or cancel reservations.
• Must be able to take initiative and communicate with guests as well as management.
• Must have flexibility in scheduling.
• Must be comfortable in a high-traffic environment.
• Organization, multi-tasking and comfortable in a high-volume environment.
• Must be comfortable serving food and beverages (food is pre-packed). Over 18 to serve any alcoholic beverages. Will be asked to track food served.
• Excellent customer service and guest communication skills.
• Follow all safety and security protocols as per Pinehurst LLC. policies.
• Have extensive knowledge of services and products available to purchase.
• Have comprehensive knowledge of Pinehurst property and surrounding areas.
• Promote and sell retail products.
• Deliver daily documents to appropriate departments in a timely manner.
