Description
The Spa Attendant - Female is responsible for greeting all guests, answering calls, assisting with guest inquiries, booking appointments, checking guests in for their scheduled services, billing for services received, completing payment transactions, and cross-selling retail products. Duties also include giving facility tours, maintaining cleanliness, ensuring appointments start and end on time, assisting inside the spa, serving refreshments, and restocking supplies on the female side of the spa.
Position Responsibilities
- Assist guests with reservations and check-in in a courteous manner.
- Book, modify, and cancel spa appointments; process payments efficiently.
- Handle transactions accurately to protect company assets.
- Maintain the spa's cleanliness and decor.
- Conduct facility tours and describe amenities.
- Open and close shifts per SOPs.
- Respond promptly and professionally to guest requests and complaints.
- Work independently, perform prep work, and restock as needed.
- Attend training and staff meetings.
- Assist in all spa areas, including locker rooms and fitness center.
- Answer phones and provide beverage service.
- Ensure guest satisfaction and timely treatment arrivals/departures.
- Balance cash reports and prepare shift reports.
- Keep the area clean, organized, and stocked.
- Maintain confidentiality regarding guest information.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Minimum Employment Requirements
- Must be 18+ years old with legal work authorization.
- High school diploma/GED or enrolled in a program to complete GED within 6 months.
- Effective communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
- Strong interpersonal skills focused on guest needs.
- Professional appearance per Wind Creek standards.
- Adherence to customer service standards.
- Ability to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.
Specific Position Requirements
- Must work on the female side of the spa.
- Pass a job interview and guest service audition.
- Excellent communication, listening, and comprehension skills; pass skills tests.
- Type at least 20 WPM and operate standard office equipment.
- Demonstrate hospitality, professionalism, and attention to detail.
- Be enthusiastic, friendly, and a team player.
- Lift/carry over 25 pounds.
- Work effectively in a fast-paced environment and remain calm under stress.
- Willing to work irregular hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Physical ability to access all areas and withstand environmental factors.
- Work in a busy, sometimes stressful environment while maintaining stamina and professionalism.
