    Job Description

    Responsible for providing exceptional service to spa Guests at reception and throughout spa facilities. This position requires assisting with reservations, acknowledging and greeting Guests who enter and depart the spa, orienting Guests to the spa facilities at entry while providing personal Guest Service. In addition they are responsible for keeping the lounge areas neat, clean and well stocked with all amenities.

    Responsibilities

    • Properly open and close spa each day according to Standard Operating Procedures
    • Accurately book, change and cancel spa appointments
    • Review Guest appointment/schedules as needed
    • Acknowledge and greet Guests who enter and leave the spa facilities
    • Provide detailed descriptions of spa treatments, packages, services, facility features and hours of operation
    • Utilize spa computers with skill and proficiency
    • Maintain a spa desk fund
    • Answer the phone promptly and use the Guest’s name throughout the phone conversation
    • Issue spa lockers, robes and slippers to Guests and escort Guests to their lockers
    • Provide orientation tour, explaining spa amenities offered and answering Guest questions
    • Maintain a safe, clean and well-organized spa environment through consistent monitoring of the locker/facility
    • Actively promote spa, treatments, services, sessions and retail as well as programs and promotions
    • Maintain a clean, safe, fully stocked and well organized work area
    • Follow stock replenishment procedures
    • Maintain eye contact when addressing all spa Guests
    • Handle Guests questions and concerns professionally and courteously
    • Provide accurate and immediate responses to all requests by guests ensuring complete Guest satisfaction
    • Attend mandatory training to maintain knowledge of current spa policies, procedures and trends
    • Follow Open/Close procedures including, but not limited to counting out and balancing of funds at beginning and end of shifts
    • Follow Open/Close procedures for locker areas
    • Adhere to loss prevention guidelines
    • Additional leadership opportunities may be available that would require completion of an additional practical assessment

    Basic Qualifications

    • You must be at least 18 years of age to be considered for this role
    • Ability to handle difficult/sensitive situations independently, while confidently utilizing service recovery methods
    • Possess complete knowledge of all services and products while educating Guests
    • Strong verbal communication skills
    • Must have enthusiasm and possess excellent Guest service skills
    • Receptive to special requests and proactive in anticipating Guests needs
    • Knowledgeable about The Disneyland Resort and surrounding area
    • Basic mathematical skills are necessary

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Prior spa experience- familiarity with spa products/services and terminology helpful
    • Sales training
    • Prior sales experience helpful; comfortable with suggestive selling
    • Bi-lingual

    Compensation Details

    The pay rate for this role in California is $28.75 per hour.

    SCHEDULE AVAILABILITY
    Our Theme Parks and Resort Hotels operate 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. This is a Full-Time position that requires full availability, including working evenings, weekends and holidays when needed.
