Join our luxurious spa team and become part of creating exceptional guest experiences in the heart of beautiful Ashland! We are seeking a professional, detail-oriented Spa Front Desk Agent to serve as the first point of contact for our valued guests.

About the Role

As our Spa Attendant / Front Desk at Waterstone Spa, located in downtown Ashland, you'll be the welcoming face of our serene spa environment, managing guest appointments, handling payments, and ensuring smooth operations. This position offers the opportunity to work in a prestigious hotel while developing valuable hospitality skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional guest service and maintain a welcoming spa atmosphere
  • Greet guests with a friendly and professional demeanor
  • Manage spa appointments, bookings, and guest profiles
  • Handle telephone inquiries and spa service reservations
  • Process payments and maintain accurate cash handling procedures
  • Promote spa services, treatments, and special promotions
  • Monitor and maintain spa inventory
  • Maintain the tidiness and calm atmosphere of the lobby and retail space
  • Assist with spa laundry and general upkeep
  • Support spa staff and practitioners with daily operations
  • Coordinate with team members to ensure seamless service delivery
Required Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED
  • 1-3 months of related experience (customer service, hospitality, or spa)
  • Strong computer skills, including reservation systems and Microsoft Office
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
  • Basic mathematical skills for handling transactions
  • Ability to multitask and stay calm under pressure
  • A positive, team-oriented attitude
  • Professional appearance and positive attitude
  • Availability for weekends and some weekday shifts
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to stand for 6-8 hours per day
  • Capable of lifting/moving up to 25 pounds
  • Manual dexterity for computer work and handling items
