Job summary

Appellation Lodi - Wine & Roses Resort and Spa in Lodi, CA, is seeking a service-driven Spa Attendant to help create a welcoming, clean, and relaxing environment for guests. This part-time role requires flexibility, including weekends and holidays, to support daily spa operations.

You will greet guests, assist spa staff, and maintain knowledge of services, hours, and activities while ensuring amenities are stocked and facilities are clean. Excellent guest service and teamwork are essential.

• Perform housekeeping and laundry duties, including cleaning, washing, folding, stocking, and organizing linens and terry.

This is a part-time position that requires flexible availability including weekends and holidays.

Job Responsibilities include but not limited to:

• Greet guests with a warm, professional, and service-oriented demeanor while maintaining high standards of appearance and conduct.
• Serve as a liaison to support spa staff and ensure smooth daily operations.
• Maintain a thorough knowledge of spa services, products, hours of operation, and daily activities.
• Ensure all guest amenities and supplies are fully stocked and readily available at all times.
• Maintain cleanliness, organization, and overall presentation of locker rooms, relaxation areas, fitness spaces, and linen rooms.
• Perform housekeeping and laundry duties, including cleaning, washing, folding, stocking, and organizing linens and terry.
• Handle guest requests promptly and courteously to ensure a seamless experience.
• Address guest concerns in accordance with spa procedures to ensure satisfaction and resolution.
• Collaborate with team members across departments to support overall operations.

• Physical ability to perform job duties, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
• Flexibility to work varied schedules, including weekends and holidays, based on business needs.

• Adherence to all health, safety, and operational policies and procedures.
• Most work tasks are performed indoors. Temperature is primarily moderate and controlled by environmental systems. Steam room exceeds normal room temperature settings.
• Must be able to stand up to 8 hours per day. Length of time of these tasks may vary.
• Must be able to exert well-paced ability to reach other departments on a timely basis.
• Requires grasping, writing, standing, sitting, walking, repetitive motions, listening and hearing ability and visual acuity.
• Must be able to walk on uneven and wet or slippery surfaces.
• Constant standing and repetitive use of hands, arms, and legs; bending of neck.
• Frequent walking, twisting of neck and body, reaching shoulder level, reaching above and below shoulder level, sitting, stooping, bending at waist, grasping, and lifting.
• Occasional writing and pushing/pulling carts.

You must have the ability to lift up to 25 pounds, bend, stoop and reach; lift and carry products and supplies; constantly stand for long periods (up to 4 hours) and ability to work in a fast-paced environment; go from indoor to outdoor conditions where temperatures may vary with or without reasonable accommodation. See and read a computer screen and printed material with or without vision aids. Hear and understand speech at normal levels.
