As the leader of the health care team, provides professional nursing care, utilizing the nursing process in accordance with established standards of care, policies, and procedures. Documentation:
- Accurate, legible, and timely charting reflecting nursing interventions and evaluations.
- Effective use of computer systems for patient care documentation.
Clinical Outcomes:
- Discusses patient findings and progress with the healthcare team.
- Demonstrates competency during probation and ongoing validation.
- Makes comprehensive nursing decisions based on data interpretation and patient outcomes.
