Job Summary
As the leader of the health care team, provides professional nursing care, utilizing the nursing process in accordance with established standards of care, policies, and procedures. Demonstrates performance consistent with the Medical Center Vision, Mission, and Strategic Plan of the organization. - Coordinates discharge planning, including patient education and barrier identification.
- Maintains patient safety, including medication safety, fall prevention, and infection control.

- Ensures patient understanding of medications and discharge instructions.
Documentation
- Ensures accurate, legible, and timely charting.
- Documents nursing interventions and evaluations appropriately.
- Uses computer systems effectively for patient care documentation.
