Job summary

The Wenger Group, a Northeast family-owned food and agricultural products company, is seeking a Plant Supervisor to oversee the manufacturing of expelled soy. You will direct daily duties and ensure production runs smoothly in our Pennsylvania facility.

Candidates should be able to lift up to 100 lbs., operate heavy machinery, follow Food Safety Standards, and work overtime as needed. We offer strong benefits, bonus potential, and a collaborative team environment.

Qualifications

• Ability to work with close supervision and independently.
• Basic math and computer skills.
• Ability to understand and follow Food Safety Standards.
• Ability to operate various types of machinery and heavy equipment.
• Ability to lift up to 100 lbs. on occasion.
• General maintenance skills.
• Ability to climb ladders and work in high places.
• Ability to work in confined spaces.
• Ability to work in dusty conditions.
• Flexibility to work overtime as needed.
• Ability to work in a safe and efficient manner.

Responsibilities

• Receive daily shipments of grain and other ingredients by truck.
• Control and monitor production.
• Operate all machinery.
• Clean facility when working conditions and time permit.
• Perform general mechanical duties as determined by the Plant Supervisor.
• Perform other duties as determined by the Plant Supervisor.
• Utilize and navigate the Wenger System as appropriate.
• Follow all safety policies and procedures.
• Maintain usage reports and operational records as needed
• Maintain communication with Plant Supervisor regarding key updates.
