Job summary

Bunge is seeking a Process Operator in Council Bluffs, IA to work a rotating 12-hour shift (days/nights) starting at $28.56 per hour. You will operate soybean processing equipment, record data, run tests, and maintain a clean, safe plant environment while following HACCP guidelines.

You will participate in safety programs, cross-train across processes, and support food safety culture and compliance. This role requires teamwork, strong problem solving, and good communication in English.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment.
• Demonstrated ability to work in a safety conscious environment.
• Some mechanical background including recognizing signs of operational failure.
• Good written and verbal communications skills.

Responsibilities

• Actively participate in the Employee Safety Involvement Plan.
• Maintain a safe work environment for self and others.
• Follow HAACP procedures to ensure product safety and quality.
• Operate and control soybean processing equipment/machines.
• Record data, collect samples and perform process control tests.
• Make adjustments and maintain operating parameters.
• Perform general housekeeping of the plant.
• Cross-train in all processes.
• Complete miscellaneous duties as assigned.
• Contribute to food safety culture and comply with requirements.
