Job summary

The Cigna Group is seeking a Gold-level Financial Compliance Advisor to support SOX and SOC 1 compliance for the Evernorth segment. The role involves collaborating with business process owners to design effective internal controls and documenting controls while coordinating remediation efforts with auditors and process owners.

You will work across business partners and IT compliance, ensuring testing readiness and timely responses.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 3–5 years in SOX/internal controls/audit/risk/compliance preferred.
• CPA/CISA/CIA strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with SOX and SOC 1 compliance for Evernorth segment.
• Collaborate with control owners to design internal controls for key processes.
• Prepare documentation and support remediation of control deficiencies under SOX/SOC 1.
• Coordinate with IT compliance on technology controls and dependencies.
• Liaise with auditors and control owners to ensure testing readiness and timely documentation.
