Job summary

Mohawk Industries is seeking a Sr PMO Data Analyst to act as a trusted advisor for IT owners and application teams, ensuring proper identification, mapping, and monitoring of financial data within SOX-scoped systems. The role supports Sox PMO planning, execution, and monitoring across IT projects.

You will lead end-to-end data lineage efforts, validate data criticality, and map risks to SOX controls while advising IT teams on control alignment and evidence quality for audits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 5–8+ years experience in SOX / ITGC / ITAC compliance, financial systems, or data governance.
• Strong understanding of financial reporting processes (GL, subledger integrations) and IT control frameworks (SOX / ICFR).
• Excellent communication, problem solving, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Identify financially relevant data elements in each SOX-scoped system.
• Validate alignment to financial reporting assertions (completeness, accuracy, validity).
• Lead data lineage mapping from source systems to interfaces to reports.
• Map risks to SOX ITGC/ITAC objectives and COSO ICFR.
• Advise IT teams on control alignment to protect data and improve audit readiness.
• Produce regular and ad-hoc reports for stakeholders and leadership.
