Job summary

Cardinal Health is seeking an Internal Audit–Finance professional to lead SOX program activities and collaborate with EY on audit procedures. You will help transition controls for acquisitions and act as a subject matter expert while mentoring junior staff.

The role supports a diverse, inclusive workplace with opportunities in data analytics, training, and career development, primarily based in the Eastern/Central time zones or remote within those zones.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in related field preferred, or equivalent work experience, preferred
• 3+ years internal or external audit experience, preferred
• Certified Internal Auditor or Certified Public Accountant Preferred
• Good communication skills (verbal, written, and presentation)

Responsibilities

• Assist in leading SOX program testing and control reviews with business partners.
• Work with external auditors EY on substantive audit procedures.
• Assist with transition of controls/processes for new acquisitions.
• Act as SME in the evaluated business/process.
• Mentor less experienced staff as needed.
• Lead dept development in data analytics, training, DE&I, and career growth.
