Job summary

Dorman Products seeks an Internal Audit Intern to learn and contribute within our audit team. You will explore SOX 404 controls, assist with planning and testing, and work with SAP data to support audit projects while developing professional skills.

Based in the United States, this internship offers exposure to enterprise processes, documentation standards, and cross-functional collaboration with management. Minimum coursework in accounting/finance and a 3.0 GPA are expected.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Information Systems Management, Data & Analytics or related field.
• Minimum of two years of college completed before start of internship.
• GPA of 3.0 or higher expected.
• Interest in Finance, Accounting or Auditing and related coursework.

Responsibilities

• Understand the Internal Audit process and SOX 404 compliance.
• Assist in planning, coordinating meetings, control testing and work-paper documentation.
• Review company processes and supporting technologies (e.g., SAP) with management.
• Retrieve data from SAP and other systems for testing.
• Document work clearly and concisely.
• Manage workload to meet schedule and report progress to management.
• Contribute to program learning and feedback processes.
