Job summary

RSM US LLP in Irvine, CA invites you to join our Risk Consulting – Process Risk & Controls internship for Summer 2027. You will gain hands-on client experience with access to projects across internal audits, SOX/compliance, and financial reporting controls.

You will work under a Performance Advisor, attend client meetings, prepare reports, and develop skills in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and project management while traveling to client sites as needed.

Qualifications

• Pursuing at least a B.A./B.S. degree or equivalent from an accredited university; expected completion by December 2027 or June 2028.
• Major in Accounting (preferred), Finance, Data & Analytics.
• Minimum 3.0 GPA preferred.

Responsibilities

• Sit in on client meetings and support conducting consulting projects.
• Prepare reports on consulting services performed for clients; deliver reports and discuss results with clients.
• Travel to client locations as requested to provide consulting services.
• Complete client projects efficiently in line with project timeline and dates.
• Leverage proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint to analyze client information and document results.
• Attend conferences, trainings, and meetings to continue development relevant to the role.
