Job summary

Zillow Group is seeking a seasoned Business SOX Compliance Manager to own and execute SOX business process control workstreams as part of the second line of defense for ICFR. You will partner with business stakeholders to design, implement controls, identify gaps, and drive remediation in a fast‑paced, high‑impact environment.

The role requires hands‑on SOX expertise, strong project execution, and the ability to operate independently with limited oversight while navigating evolving GAAP and COSO

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or related field.
• Certified Public Accountant.
• 8+ years of relevant work experience, including Big 4 public accounting experience.
• Compliance or audit experience at a publicly traded company preferred.

Responsibilities

• Partner with business stakeholders and control owners to assess potential business changes for impacts to SOX controls.
• Serve as a SOX SME, creating processes and procedures that meet compliance requirements.
• Design and implement controls for high‑risk business areas, driving projects end to end.
• Identify gaps in internal control designs and drive remediation efforts.
• Develop and drive remediation plans with control owners to timely completion.
• Coordinate with IT compliance on system implementations impacting controls.
