Job description

Redox Bio-Nutrients is seeking an experienced Turf Sales Agronomist to market and sell its products directly and through distributors to golf course superintendents and turfgrass field managers in the Southwestern United States, specifically Palm Springs, Las Vegas and Phoenix/Tucson. Roles / Responsibilities of this position include:

  • Strong agronomic knowledge of turf and sports fields
  • Maintaining and expanding business relationships at the superintendent and manager level and throughout the organization, from sales to technical support
  • Inventory management
  • Deep understanding of turf grass systems in the region
  • Travel required, including occasional regional sales training
  • Ability to learn, absorb and communicate highly technical information
  • Responsible for maintaining and growing product sales in territory

Ideal candidates will have a skillset that includes:

  • Mandatory prior experience in the golf or turfgrass field industries
  • Existing relationships with golf course superintendents and turfgrass field managers in Palm Springs, Las Vegas and Phoenix/Tucson
  • Four-year turf-related degree preferred
  • Strong communication skills to understand the needs of individual users and the business, and to collaborate frequently on plans and progress for both
  • Ability to present technical information to groups of superintendents and others
  • High integrity and a team mindset
  • Comfortable use of a computer, including the following applications: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and a CRM system.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills, along with the ability to multi-task
