Job Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Manager to lead our Southwest U.S. territory (covering states such as CA, AZ, NM, CO, TX, etc.). This role will focus on building and managing a network of distributor partners to drive sales of ThatchZyme and future turfgrass products. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with a proven track record in B2B sales, ideally within the turfgrass, agriculture, or related industries, and has strong relationships in the golf, commercial landscaping, or sports field sectors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify, recruit, and onboard distributor partners across the Southwest U.S. who service the golf market, commercial landscape operators, and/or sports field managers.

  • Develop and execute a regional sales strategy to meet or exceed revenue targets for ThatchZyme and future product lines.

  • Build strong, long-term relationships with distributor partners, providing training, product knowledge, and ongoing support to ensure their success.

  • Collaborate with marketing and product development teams to tailor offerings and promotional materials to the needs of the Southwest turfgrass market.

  • Conduct market research to identify new opportunities, monitor competitor activity, and stay ahead of industry trends.

  • Represent ZymeCO/Colorado Biofactory at industry events, trade shows, and conferences to expand brand awareness and network with key stakeholders.

  • Track and report sales performance, pipeline activity, and distributor feedback using CRM tools.

  • Travel within the Southwest region as needed to meet with distributors and end customers (approximately 30-50% travel).
