Position Details

• Schedule: Days - 7:30 am - 5:00 pm

About The Job

The Invasive Cardiology Nurse provides care to patients of all ages with various system abnormalities. Responsibilities include assessing and evaluating patients and families collaboratively, demonstrating accountability for decisions, and coordinating all aspects of care. The nurse also provides technical and medical expertise for all adult and pediatric diagnosis interventional cardiology procedures within their section, documenting relevant patient information according to standards. The role reports to the RN Clinical Manager and works under general supervision.

Responsibilities

• Implement and evaluate patient care
• Identify, facilitate, and evaluate nursing care outcomes
• Assess patients considering developmental, biophysical, psychosocial, environmental, self-care, educational, and discharge needs
• Intervene based on nursing diagnoses and coordinate therapies with other disciplines
• Re-evaluate nursing orders regularly

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited nursing program
• Registered Nurse license in NH or a compact state
• BLS & ACLS certifications
• Minimum 1 year experience in an interventional lab
• 2-4 years experience in ICU/CCU preferred
