Job Overview

Provides physical therapy services to inpatients of all ages from birth through geriatrics, including developmentally based exceptions such as children under 17 with neurological or developmental disorders and infants in nursery or NICU.

Responsibilities
  • Evaluates patients, including subjective and objective assessments, and establishes effective goals and treatment plans.
  • Implements patient-specific treatment plans, modifies as needed, and develops educational programs involving family participation when appropriate.
  • Delegates and shares appropriate patients with physical therapy assistants.
  • Provides supervision to new staff and students.
  • Processes insurance and third-party payer information efficiently.
  • Maintains clinical competency and uses safe, appropriate equipment and techniques.
Qualifications
  • Graduate of an accredited school of Physical Therapy.
  • CPR certification preferred.
  • Certifications such as Graston, Lymphedema, or Dry Needling are helpful, especially for outpatient PT.
  • 1-2 years of experience preferred.
