We are hiring immediately for a Certified Surgical Technologist to join our Surgical Services team at Southern NH Medical Center. This full-time position offers flexible shifts and minimal on-call hours.

About Us

SNHMC features nine operating rooms, 25 pre-op/PACU bays, and a sterile processing department. We provide a variety of services including neurological, orthopedic, gynecological, urological, bariatric, colorectal, vascular, ENT, general, breast, and plastics. Our OR utilizes the latest technology and offers Periop-101 training and advancements.

Job Responsibilities

• Identify and prepare sterile instrumentation and equipment for surgeries.
• Assist the surgical team with verification, intra-operative procedures, and case closure.
• Maintain sterile fields and ensure safety protocols.
• Review surgical bookings and match procedures to preference cards.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited surgical technologist program.
• Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) or Tech in Surgery (TS-C).
• Current BLS certification.
• New Hampshire Medical Technologist registration or valid NH license.
• Ability to complete competencies such as sterile technique, instrument handling, and surgical counts within specified timeframes.
